A fascinating collection of poetry, songs and essays by award-winning German writer Peter Pannke. "I am sniffing the footprints of all those lost, pale-faced lovers, hobos, bums & drifters, mad hatters, minstrels, malangs & majubs, derwishes & qalandars, griots, jesters & bauls who passed before me," Pannke says about himself. "When i smell their perfume i start to wag my tail and howl. I am a dog running up and down the road of the troubadours."
