The Story of Daastaan unfolded in the year 2007.
It started publishing non-commercial bi-lingual poetry books to promote of
the earliest form of literary expressions. Today it is an independent publishing
initiative with a platter of services related to creative and media industry.
Daastaan believes that the creative industry is an important factor for sustainable development. It is committed to strengthen cultural infrastructure, particularly in a country like India, where design level R&D and patent registrations are very low. It also feels that imparting knowledge on various platforms can play a crucial role due to uneven accessibility to knowledge and to information. As a result, it publishes books and invests in developing other communicational methods including media. DMC has a vast network of associates and resource persons and has been involved in projects that are located through out India, Europe and North Africa.
Team Daastaan comprises of dedicated young professionals from various fields. It has an established network in the field of art, culture, media across the globe. Daastaan Media Communications is registered with the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi.
